Dr. John F. Grayson, President of Grayson Foundation, Inc, was recently honored by Worldwide Branding for his exceptional levels of leadership in the areas of nonprofit organizational management, and for his efforts in assisting the public in the securing of human rights.
On the day before Thanksgiving in 2012, Mr. Grayson was enjoying music and reading in his living room when his life was suddenly interrupted. Two deputies from the sheriff’s department knocked on his front door and informed him that someone had reported him as wanting to commit suicide, and therefore they had to escort him to the hospital. Without any choice in the matter, Mr. Grayson went on to suffer through a terrible ordeal that lasted days before he was released.
After this jarring experience, Mr. Grayson decided to establish the Grayson Foundation, Inc. in order to help others that are dealing with similar difficult situations. In essence, the nonprofit aids all people in need of assistance when dealing with bureaucracy and federal government issues. The Grayson Foundation strives to bring justice to anyone whose constitutional or civil rights have been infringed upon by any organization or individual. Specializing in advocacy, Mr. Grayson possesses a unique zeal for his mission as a dedicated 85-year-old gentleman. He oversees the operations of the nonprofit, which include providing personal aid and comfort to affected individuals, educating the public regarding human rights, and assisting the initiation or change of legislation to improve and ensure the rights of individuals.
