After two decades of success in the nonprofit and corporate social investment industries, Kelvin Glen is uniquely qualified to lead The Tiger Brands as director. This foundation focuses on providing education and school feeding programs that feed 4,300 children in 62 schools. As director of the organization, Mr. Glen ensures that the strategy and budget are achieved. He also works with schools and the government. Mr. Glen’s hard work and ability to work at strategic and operational levels have led him to continued success at the company. He has seen how much work needs to be done in Africa, and is passionate about making a difference.
Mr. Glen is pursuing a Master of Business Administration, and earned a degree in social science in 1993. Prior to joining The Tiger Brands, he served a number of boards in both executive and non-executive roles. He also worked at companies including the Charities Aid Foundation Australia, the South African Red Cross and the Giving Organisation. In recognition of his achievements, Mr. Glen was recently inducted into Worldwide Branding. Looking forward, he aims to gain more experience at an executive level, increase his strategic expertise, publish more reports and train others.
