Milena Morrow Helps Disabled Individuals to Overcome ObstaclesMilena Morrow, President of Lifebridge East Inc., is a disabled individual who was hired for a position she applied for at the company. She comes from a background where she was taught to believe that she would not be able to participate in the mainstream arena due to her disability; she developed the desire to prove people wrong, and became determined to prove to them that she would not only succeed, but also become successful at leading an organization. She is interested in challenges, a qualified editor, and is in the process of publishing her book “Sipping Champagne Through a Straw: A Migrant Daughter’s Tale with a Difference.”

Milena MorrowIn her role with Lifebridge East Inc., Ms. Morrow is responsible for setting the organization’s value, vision and strategic direction. She is also in charge of monitoring the annual business plan to ensure that the organization is meeting its targets and objectives.  Upon reflecting on a rewarding career, she attributes her success to her passion, determination to not listen to others, ability to follow her dreams, love for challenges and positive attitude.

    Thanks for posting this! I have MS and i’ve been wanting to bring awareness to people in my situation who don’t know what to do. I’ve been getting help from my pastor and my stepdad, and they’ve been enormously helpful, and I want to take what I’ve learned about how to keep goals intact, keep a healthy and active lifestyle, and stay positive and share it with other people. This article put everything in perspective!
